Good Children Gallery in New Orleans is pleased to announce Without Stones There Is No Arch, a solo exhibition by GC member Scott Andresen (b. 1975). The show centers on a new body of work Scott developed over the past four years focusing on vulnerability and the mending of wounds. The exhibition includes these new pieces alongside the sources of inspiration, artistic influences, and material explorations that inspired and informed this new work.

In the back gallery the artist has curated Warp Speed: West African Textile Traditions. During his travels in the region Andresen has collected a range of weavings displaying the unique traditions of the area, and these textiles have become an integral source of inspiration for the artist.
