Good Children Gallery is pleased to present OUH HUO, an exhibition by new member, Carrie Fonder.




OUH HUO is a project that is centered on a TED talk by famous curator Hans Ulrich Obrist (HUO). The work uses humor to examine language, communication, and power, as it reinterprets the talk using its inaccurate YouTube subtitles. The accompanying “stills” are two-dimensional works that correlate to scenes from the original talk, also reimagined through the subtitles. The exhibition will be on view August 12th – September 3rd during regular gallery hours on Saturdays and Sundays from 12-5 PM.
